Beaudrie, Shirley


It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of
Shirley Mearce Beaudrie
at the Hallowell House Nursing home
on Friday, January 20th,  2024.
At the age of 88.

Beloved wife of the late Harvey Beaudrie.
Loving companion of the late Don Hedger.

Loving mother of Linda Pegan (Doug Clarke), Mary Lou Ostroskie (Dennis), June Beaudrie Whitman (late Ron),
John Beaudrie, Bill Beaudrie (Ann), Peter Beaudrie (Joanne) and predeceased by her son Jack.

Predeceased by her parents Kate and Lester Baumhour.
She is survived by her sisters Flossie Genereaux (Val), Patti Ostroskie (Basil) and Bessie Spilek (Eugene). Predeceased by her siblings Mary, Clifford, Lester, Ronald, Elmer, Dorothy, Martin, Anita, Sheila and Tom.
Fondly remembered by her many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Shirley was a caring and loving person. Her kindness will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
A special thank you to the nurses and staff of Stirling Manor and Hallowell House Nursing Homes.   

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 10th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.
at the Wellington United Church, 243 Main Street, Wellington.
Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at the church.
A reception will immediately follow the service at the
Wellington Legion, Branch #160, 364 Main Street, Wellington.
