EDWARD JAMES ‘TED’ ALGAR
At the age of 87
Loving husband of the late Freda Algar.
Caring father of Brenda Mabee (Stephen), Diana Davidson (late Raymond),
Pamela Handley (Gordon) and Kevin Algar (Lisa).
Loved Grandpa to his 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and his grand doggies.
Predeceased by his siblings Bert Algar (late Lois), Geraldine Algar, Keith Algar (late Bernadette), Harry Algar (late Freda),
Ralph Algar (late Barb), Ruth York (late Eddie), Mary Hunter (late Ron) and Wayne Algar (Jean).
Ted enjoyed a career as a mechanic and tow truck operator for Grindrod Motors in Picton before retiring as a coach bus driver.
He loved his family and enjoyed travelling with Freda.
He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at the PEC Memorial Hospital and the amazing staff
at Hospice Prince Edward for their excellent and compassionate care of Dad.
A private family interment service will be held at Cherry Valley Cemetery in the spring.
