RODGER WILLIAM ANDERSON
July 31, 1941 – December 12, 2025
Peacefully, with courage and dignity, in his 85th year on Friday, December 12, 2025 at Kingston Health Sciences Centre,
with his nieces at his side.
Predeceased by his parents Bill and Kathleen (nee Gordon), brothers Leslie and Allen,
sister-in-law Nan, and longtime companion Joan Brown. Loved and will be greatly missed by his nieces Tracey (Steve), Dana (Ron) and Karen (Adrian), great-nieces and nephews Elizabeth, Virginia, Jalen and Lucas, dear friends Tom and Christina Dmytar.
Fondly remembered by the Brown family.
Rodger was a long-standing member of the Picton business community,
and a member of the Elks and Masonic Lodges.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held
on Sunday, January 18, 2026 from 11:00am-2:00pm at the Elks Lodge Hall, 21 Elks St., Picton.
A private interment will be held at a later date.
The family is grateful to Dr. Steve Blanchard and the team in the ER department at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital
and the paramedics for their quick response and professionalism, and to the 4th and 7th floor staff at KHSC for the
care and compassion given to Rodger in his final days.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation,
the Back the Build campaign with PECM Hospital Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
