Josephine Mary Campbell
Josephine Mary Campbell (née Tyrrell),
aged 71, announces her passing on June 24, 2026,
at Maplewood Long Term Care Home in Brighton, Ontario.
Born in Dublin, Ireland, Josephine later made her home in Canada, where she built a life surrounded by family and friends.
Josephine passed peacefully in her sleep after living with dementia. Her family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the
wonderful staff at Maplewood for their compassionate care and attention over the past twenty-six months.
Josephine will be lovingly remembered for her cheerful disposition, strong convictions, kind heart, warmth, humour, and generosity.
She touched the lives of many.
Josephine is survived by her husband, Peter Travis Campbell.
She will be remembered with love by her children, Christine Sarah Marsiglio (née Campbell), Heather Theresa Campbell,
Barbara Weiser, and Paul Brady; her son-in-law, Michael Marsiglio; and her six grandchildren, Eamon Marsiglio, Eoin Marsiglio,
Orla Marsiglio, Noah Weiser, Samuel Weiser, and Nathaniel Weiser.
She is also survived by her sisters, Theresa Dale (née Tyrrell), Maria O’Connor (née Tyrrell), Noeleen Losack (née Tyrrell),
Bernadette Tyrrell, and Grace Tyrrell, and by her brothers, Paul Tyrrell and John Tyrrell.
A Funeral Service will be held at
St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, 17 Elmsley Street North, Smiths Falls,ON,
on Wednesday, July 8, at 12:30 p.m.
A Celebration of Life will follow at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 95,
in the Canadian Room, at 2:30 p.m.
