We sadly announce the passing of
Miriam ‘Mame’ Mitchell Franklin
(nee Aitken)
On Sunday, March 1st, 2026
at Hospice Prince Edward, Picton, ON
Mame was the beloved wife for 61 years of William ‘Bill’ Franklin.
She was a loving and devoted friend to many.
She was an RCAF Veteran having served in Germany and Trenton Air Bases.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a private family interment at
Belleville Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial Donations to Hospice Prince Edward or the PEC Memorial Hospital Foundation ‘Back the Build’
would be appreciated by the family.
The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice Prince Edward and the PEC Memorial Hospital
for their care and comfort in her final days.
