Thomas George Gorsline

Known to many as Tom, Tommy G, Father Tom, and GT, 
passed away peacefully on November 27th, 2025
at Belleville General Hospital 
In his 81st year.

Tom is survived by his wife Peggy, the love of his life sharing 58 years of marriage together, 

and his children Allen (Bev) and Greg (Shannon). He was a very proud grandfather to Brianna (Corey), Becca (Ostap), Allister, and Owen, 

and a cherished great-grandfather to Morgan “Mo.”

Tom is predeceased by his parents Clarence “Bud” and Ruth, his brother Kenny (Arlene) and sister Cyndi (Ted). 

He will be missed by his siblings Gail (John), Beth (Curly), Gwen (late Don), David (late Janis, and partner Heather), and Susan (Bud) and their families. Tom will also be remembered by his weekly golf buddies Roy, Bennett, and Dave, along with Kirby and the boys at the garage.

Tom proudly served several years in the Royal Canadian Navy, sharing stories about his time aboard the HMCS Bonaventure. 

He later dedicated 25 years as a Correctional Officer at Milhaven Penitentiary, retiring after a long and respected career.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the ICU Doctors and entire care team at Belleville General Hospital for their compassion and support.

A Celebration of Life will be held 
on Friday, December 19th, at the Prince Edward Yacht Club 
(30 Fairfield Street, Picton, ON), from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, 
with remarks beginning at 5:30pm. 
Cremation has taken place, and a private family internment 
will be held at a later date.

If desired, donations may be made to Hospice Prince Edward, the PECMH Foundation’s Back the Build Campaign, 

or a charity of your choice.
