GRADA GROOT-NIBBELINK
With sad hearts, we announce the passing of
Grada Hendrika Groot-Nibbelink (Heideman)
into the tender arms of her Lord and Saviour
on Sunday, October 12th, 2025.
. Grada was pre-deceased by her husband Bernard in 2013 after 60 years of marriage.
Deeply cherished by her children Bill (Tena), Eric (Carolyn) and Elna. Dearly loved Oma to grandchildren Sarah Joy (Adam), Jenica (Walter),
Michelle (Dylan), Nathan (Lindsay), Christy (Stephen) and Carissa, and 10 great-grandchildren.
She is survived by sisters Riek Hakkesteegt (Trenton, ON), Mien Heinen and Annie Perebolte (Dick) and brother Henk Heideman (all of the Netherlands), along with many nieces & nephews both here in Canada and in Holland.
Predeceased by siblings Johan Heideman, Gerda Hiddink, Wim Heideman & Gerhard Heideman.
Grada took great joy in her family. She lived a faithful life with quiet confidence and faith in God.
We thank God for his abiding faithfulness over the years. Grada’s life was such a gift to all of us.
Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, October 15th at
Ainsworth Funeral Home, 288 Noxon Avenue, Wellington, ON from 6:00 to 8:00 PM
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 16th at 1:00 PM
at Bethany Christian Reformed Church, 159 Main Street Bloomfield, ON.
Interment at the Quaker Cemetery following the service.
Memorial Donations can be made to Hospice Prince Edward or a charity of your choice.
