Walter Andrew Haight
It is with great sadness, but with a gratitude for a life well lived,
that we announce the passing of
Walter Haight,
who died peacefully at Trenton Memorial Hospital
surrounded by his loving family on August 11, 2026,
at the age of 75.
Walter was loved beyond measure and will be missed more than simple words can express
by his son Andrew (Larissa) and his grandchildren Camren and Matthew,
his sister-in-law Lynda and his nieces Angela (Chris), Vicki (Bob) and Julie (Gord).
Predeceased by his sisters Ruth Wales and Rose-Marie Morrison and his
brother Ken Haight.
Walter spent his life on the family dairy farm, along with proudly serving his community as a member of the Hillier Fire Dept for 33 years.
Walter enjoyed helping others and always took the time to stop and chat.
Friends are invited to attend a
Memorial Service on Thursday, August 20th at 11:00 a.m. in the Highline Hall
at the Wellington District Community Centre, 111 Belleville Street, Wellington.
Following the service a luncheon will be served in the Hall
and friends may visit with the family from 12:00-2:00 p.m.
