It is with a heavy heart that we announce 
Robert Joseph Lavender
        sadly left us on September 8th, 2025 at his home in Wellington. 
                                                   At the age of 76.



Bob leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Betty Lavender and his children; 
Tanya Lavender (Alberony), Chris Lavender (Stacey), Jeremy Lavender (Angela) and Joseph Lavender. 

He was Papa to his beloved grandchildren, Zander, Amelia, Jocelyn, Francesca, Henry and Clifford. 

Survived by his brothers Tom (Alice) and Paul (Vicki). Predeceased by his brother Garry (Diane). 

Fondly remembered by his many cousins, nieces, nephews and their families.

Bob was a dedicated family man who loved being with people. 

He gave of himself through his love of sports, be it as a player, teammate, coach, bus tour coordinator or purely as a fan. 

He impacted many lives and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. 

A Memorial Service will be held in his honour in the Highline Hall 

at the Wellington & District Community Centre, 111 Belleville Street, Wellington at 1:00 pm on Monday, September 15th. 

Friends may gather with the family for a reception following the service until 4:00.

The Wellington Dukes Booster Club would be appreciated by the family.
