Passed away peacefully at Hospice Prince Edward

On Monday, May 18th, 2026

BRIAN GERARD MCLAUGHLIN

At the age of 87








Much loved husband of Sheila McLaughlin.

Survived by brother Paul and sister Peg.

Pre-deceased by brother Bob.


Brian always had a passion for target and competitive shooting. He loved to travel 

and spent manty visits in England and Wales (which he especially loved).

Brian volunteered as treasurer for the Friends of Sandbanks Park in 2006 and worked for them for 14 years. 

For many years he set up militaria displays of antique equipment and uniforms for legions and veteran’s groups. 

He always impressed when wearing World War I or II uniforms.


Cremation has taken place.

A Graveside Service will be held at the 
Wellington Cemetery on Wednesday, May 27th at 1:00 p.m.
