Ronald Turnbull O'Shea
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our father
Ronald Turnbull O’Shea
on Friday, January 9th, 2026
at the age of 90.
Born in Kingston, ON Ron was the son of Thomas and Alice O’Shea.
He is survived by his beloved wife Marilyn of 71 years and his children Shelley (Mel) Hagger, Mike (Glynis) O’Shea,
Tom (Lori) O’Shea and Kathy Maltby.
He is also the proud grandfather to several grand, great and great-great grandchildren.
Ron chose the Airforce as a career path where postings throughout Canada were plentiful for he and his young family.
After 25 years in the Airforce, he went on to serve another 20 years in the public service.
Ron and Marilyn always had an affinity for the PEC area after serving 6 years at CFB Trenton (in the 60’s and 70’s)
and wisely chose Wellington as their retirement utopia in 1999.
They loved the beaches and drives through the picturesque County.
Ron also immensely enjoyed the Wellington Dukes and was an
avid supporter as he was finally able to enjoy hockey once again after being a Leaf fan for all his years.
He will be greatly missed by family and friends for his quiet yet supportive nature and kindness.
A special thanks goes out to all that helped through his final stages in life.
As per his wishes there will not be a funeral service.
A future date will be set and announced for a small gathering to
Celebrate Ron’s Life.
