Kurt Ortner Jr. peacefully entered into rest on June 5th, 2026 
at Kingston General Hospital.







                                                                                                                                                                                            

 He was the son of the late Kurt Ortner and Ingeborg Ortner (nee Hainzl) of Ottawa. 

Cherished husband of Anne Ortner (nee Christofolakos) of Wellington. 

Brother of Wolfgang (Dawna), Susan (Adam Stroup) and Helmut (Dorothy) Ortner. 

Proud uncle of Adam Ortner, Samantha Stephens, 

Brianna Stephens-Christofolakos (Terry Mallon) and Aidan Christofolakos. 

Son-in-law of John and Margaret Christofolakos of Prescott. 

Brother-in-law of John Christofolakos (Ana Louisa), Michael Christofolakos, 

Peter Christofolakos (Kim Stephens), and Louise Christofolakos. 

He will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. 


Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to 

Ainsworth Funeral Home, 288 Noxon Avenue, Wellington. 


Donations to Kingston General Hospital, Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, 

the Canadian Cancer Society and Autoimmune Research are greatly appreciated by the family.
