Paul Andrew Thompson
After a lengthy illness, we announce the passing of
PAUL ANDREW THOMPSON
formerly of Wellington, ON
On Friday, October 31st, 2025
At the age of 75
Paul will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 37 years, Lisa (nee Joyce),
his sons Dave (Karisa) and Dan (Alexis), his grandchildren Mia, Payton and Piper and his brothers and sisters in-law.
Paul was predeceased by his brothers Dave and Dale.
Born in Picton to Clarence (Pat) and Louise, Paul graduated from Loyalist College in Belleville and preceded
to work in the area at different locations as a millwright until arriving at Lake Ontario Cement (Essroc)
for the next 40 years until retiring at age 66.
The only thing Paul loved more than hunting, fishing and being in the outdoors was his family.
He was so very proud of both his boys.
Paul and Lisa moved to Belleville in 2018 due to health issues. The family is very grateful to all the staff at Belmont Long Term Care Facility
and the PSW’s from Paramed who all helped with his care in his final years.
Paul will be interred at Universalist Cemetery, Bloomfield during a private ceremony at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to the Belleville Police Service Cops and Kids Fishing Derby (bellevilleps.ca)
or any charity of your choice.
